the offical contest announcement is in my oct 17th journal but here are the details... my friend becki wrote a facebook note about people who focus on the bad... and i would like to remember the good... so i am holding a design contest for my next tattoo... i want it to say "Never Forget What Makes You Happy" so im shouting out to all the designers out there who like to make cool written designs.. the prize is 6 months worth of subs (two 3 months).. but here's the catch... i dont have enough monies for a tattoo right now, but it will be getting done within the next year or so (i like to have my parents help me pay for tattoos for bday presents... weird i know) which is why this contest is really long... but when i announce the winner is when the prize is going to be awarded.

RULES:

-colors are okay, just as long as they are the cool colors (if you dont know what those are, ask) but the lettering HAS to be in black

-feel free to add a little flair with some other designs that would go around, its not necessary, but if it floats your boat, go right ahead... but i would prefer to not have animals or other people in the design

-i would like the design to be feminine, but NOT girly (i am a female, but that doesnt make me lady like )




and i do not have an end date yet... i was thinking december 17th (dont know why i just like that date) but im thinking i might have it until december 31st... so probably in that time frame window... but do not worry i will have a definite end date bymid november (but i may extend the date if i dont get enough participation... the more the merrier! )

also if you would like to see my other tattoos feel free to ask (i have 4: ankle, shoulder, hip and wrist)

and have fun! and when i do get the tattoo the artist will be notified and will get their own journal feature (meaning i feature them and only them for a week or 2)

when you have your design if you could link back to this piece right here that would be great (and also let me know that you posted an entry with a link )


before i forget the design can be vertical or horizontal in any way... its either going on the left side of my torso or as an anklet
